Dissolution of the loose components of CSL Betain pellets causes a strong reaction. In only 60 seconds, they practically explode giving signals to the fish that food is nearby and available. But this is not the end of this story. After disintegration, the constitutents of the pellet start floating up and down in water, which is achieved by the optimal density balance of the particles. Only about 20% of the pellet remain on the bottom and 10% come out to the durface. The rest is floating up and down. The pellets are reinforced with betain by which they were named.
